Description
A 5 pin euro cylinder with a key on the outside and a thumb turn on the inside.
This is the right specification for most front doors. You can lock and unlock from inside without hunting for a key, which matters in a fire as much as it does day to day.

Key and turn, or double key
Key and thumb turn is the usual choice for a front door. Convenient, and safe in an emergency.
Double key, where a key is needed both sides, is more secure against a break in through adjacent glass. If you specify one, keep a key accessible inside.
Sizing
Cylinders are sized to the door thickness and the lock case. Measure from the centre fixing screw to each face of the door. Too short and the key will not turn, too long and the cylinder sits proud and can be attacked.
Keyed alike
If you have several external doors, keyed alike means one key opens them all. Specify it at order time, because it cannot be added later without replacing cylinders.

Lead time
Havolka and Ookami Studio are held in stock in Palmyra at all times. Orders placed before cut off generally dispatch the same day.
Every other brand is brought in to order, generally one to two weeks depending on the supplier and the finish.

Delivery and lead times
We supply more than twenty brands, and most product is brought in to order from our suppliers. As a general guide, allow one to two weeks from order to delivery. Some ranges arrive sooner, and we will always confirm the expected timing on your order.

Shipping
All deliveries are sent via tracked courier, Australia wide, and you will receive a tracking number once your order is fulfilled. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Working to a build programme?
